Oyado Kinkiyu

Kawayu hot spring is situated in the Akan national park which is on eastern part of Hokkaido. Located in the center of Kussharo caldera, largest caldera in Japan and surrounded by beautiful lake Kussharo, lake Mashu and lake Akan. An active volcano, Mount Io is 2.5 km from the hot spring area where source of Kawayu hot spring flows. Oyado Kinkiyu is on this Kawayu hot spring village and we offer natural hot spring directly from the source without adding water or heating. We don't have Sauna and open-air bath but provide three different temperature of hot spring ( high temperature, mid temperature and low temperature ) for our guests to enjoy longer and relax in a comfortable atmosphere. Also guests can enjoy our simple and delicious homemade Japanese dishes in the morning and evening.

Station:: 10 min by bus from Kawayu-onsen station on Senmo Hon Line / By Airplane : 1 hour drive from Memanbetsu Airport. If you use the public transportation: Please ride on Airport shuttle bus from Memanbetsu Airport to Abashiri, then take the local train from Abashiri toward Kushiro for 1 hour 30 min / 1 hour 30 min drive from Kushiro Airport. If you use the public transportation: Please ride on Airport shuttle bus from Kushiro Airport to JR Kushiro station, then take the local train from Kushiro station toward Abashiri for 1 hour 30 min
