[Introduction to the cuisine] This is country cuisine, carefully prepared using hospitality ingredients carefully selected by Naofumi, who knows all about local ingredients. The vegetables are local vegetables that are characterized by their sweetness and freshness, and are grown with care by affiliated farmers who are particular about quality. The meat is a selection of famous Gunma Prefecture meats, including Oze Dream Pork, Joshu Barley Pork, and Akagi Jidori Chicken. We harvest wild vegetables and mushrooms in season, and prepare our own ingredients from scratch. We are particular about even the water we use, and use natural water pumped up from Mt. Tanigawa for all of our cooking. Please enjoy our proud flavors, which can never be found in the city, and are unique to Shobun.
