Standard Miso Nabe [Japanese breakfast] [Japanese dinner]

Ohara, Kyoto. In the quiet mountains, surrounded by beautiful greenery and the source of the Kamo River, you will find Misoan, which has been making miso for over 100 years. At our inn, you can enjoy the original miso nabe, which uses miso from our sister inn, Misoan. The miso nabe that our inn started has been loved for 40 years, and has spread to Ohara, becoming a local specialty. And so, our inn became the birthplace of miso nabe. Our inn is the only one that serves the blended miso nabe. The taste of our miso nabe changes every day, so you can discover new flavors no matter how many times you come. ■◇About Misoan's Miso◇■ Using carefully selected ingredients (only soybeans, rice malt, and salt), our craftsmen take their time to "talk to the miso" and prepare our carefully crafted miso using traditional methods. The soybeans are boiled and crushed, then mixed with rice malt and salt by hand, and it is very valuable because it is prepared once a year. Miso craftsmen are also available in the inn, so if you have any questions about miso, please feel free to ask. <Special blend miso hotpot made with homemade miso> [One year] A strong sweetness that brings out the flavor of young malt [Two years] A mellow, mature, well-balanced flavor [Three years] A refreshing flavor with a hint of sweetness and umami Our special blend miso hotpot is unique to our inn, as it is made by our sister miso shop, Misoan. <Self-service miso to enjoy as you like> We also have a wide variety of miso varieties for you to try, which are also sold at Misoan.
