Even in the peak of summer, daytime temperatures stay below 30°C, and nighttime temperatures drop below 20°C, making it cool.During June and September nights, the temperature can be as low as 5–10°C, which feels quite cold.For stargazing, long sleeves and long pants are recommended even in midsummer, and fleece or down jackets are essential in spring and autumn. In the midwinter months of December to March, the starry skies are stunning with clear air, paired with frosted trees and snowy landscapes, but the temperatures can drop to -20°C at night and -10°C even during the day.Please prepare thorough cold-weather gear. At our facility, you can relax leisurely on the terrace or in the massage chairs.Our spacious kids' room is filled with toys and books, offering unlimited fun for both children and adults. Dinner features course meals centered around local vegetables and fruits, using seasonal ingredients. We offer a wide variety of local specialties, including craft beer, local sake, local wine, and fruit wines.

A pension that welcomes children. Shinshu Sugadaira Minenohara Plateau is full of nature. There are many things to do, such as walking along the promenade and going to see the Scarlet Falls and Karasawa Falls. In spring, we will guide you in picking wild vegetables, and in summer, we will guide you in finding butterflies, stag beetles, and rhinoceros beetles. In early July, you can see fireflies in the town below. Guests staying overnight will receive a free admission ticket to Sugadaira Ranch, which is a 10-minute drive away. You can enjoy the blue sky, white clouds, grasslands and birch trees, and the feeling of Heidi, Girl of the Alps. Nearby, you can play golf, tennis, and horseback riding, and you can enjoy seasonal fruit picking such as strawberries, cherries, peaches, grapes, and apples, and you can also experience soba noodle making. Convenient access to tourist spots, such as Zenkoji Temple and Obuse, which are 40 minutes by car. Togakushi and Karuizawa are just over an hour by car. Togakushi's "Chibikko Ninja Village" and Karuizawa's "Toy Kingdom" are popular with families. There are also many day-trip hot springs nearby. The inn has a 22-tatami-mat kids' room that is very popular with children. There are also picture books, toys and games such as Plarail. The meals are basically set courses using seasonal ingredients, mainly local vegetables and fruits. For preschoolers, the basic rule is to have separate meals for co-sleeping, but there is an option to add a bed and meals if necessary. There are single menus such as hamburger steaks and curry that can be ordered on the day. We also have baby food, and we can accommodate allergy-related foods to the extent possible, so please contact us first. The owner's son is actively working as a hunter! Our facility offers delicious course meals made with seasonal ingredients and local produce as a standard, and this plan allows you to enjoy a selection of game dishes like deer and boar. The game hunted by the son is carefully prepared, including blood removal, and is reputed to be odorless and delicious. You can also enjoy hunter stories.
