Guesthouse Miei

Located in Nagahama City, this guesthouse is a renovated traditional house, 150 years old and 100㎡ in size. Accommodation is available for reservations starting from 4 guests. There are three lodging facilities with warehouses nearby, including the two-story 'Kura Miei' and 'Ikou.' Conveniently accessible from the lakeside road, ideal for use during a cycling tour of Biwaichi. Limited to one group per day, the entire house is reserved exclusively for you, ensuring a comfortable stay with family or friends. Regarding meals - Dinner is not included, but we can prepare hot pot cuisine or a bento box with advance reservation (additional fee). - Free light breakfast (bread and coffee) is served at Kosouan Café between 7:30 AM and 9 AM (requires travel to the breakfast venue). - For guests who prefer cooking: The kitchen is available for use. Cooking utensils and tableware are fully equipped. - For customers using convenience stores, supermarkets, or hot springs: Within a 10-minute drive. - For customers wishing to have a barbecue, an additional fee of 2,000 yen will be charged. (Advance reservation required) Transportation Access Approximately 5 minutes by car from JR Hokuriku Main Line Kinomoto Station. Cyclists should first head to Kitafuse 'Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine.' For those coming by car, please proceed directly to the parking lot. About parking Parking spaces are available across from the 'Kitafuse Community Center.' 'Nobori flags' serve as a landmark. Tourism Information (Approximate Distances) Located near the Lake Biwa cycling route, close to "Kannon no Sato Takatsuki Tour," and about 5 minutes by car to the historic battle site of Shizugatake. Lake Biwa SUP, fishing, and various other activities are available. For Biwaichi guests Services include luggage storage and courier service, as well as transportation for cyclists to the nearest station or for shopping at a supermarket (advance consultation required). About group use 'Miei,' 'Ikou,' and 'Kosouan' are operated by the same owner. These facilities, combined, can accommodate groups of up to 50 people.
