Ōmi beef has an overwhelmingly long history of 400 years as a beef cattle breed in Japan and, along with Kobe beef and Matsusaka beef, is referred to as one of the "three great beefs." Omi beef, raised on the fertile land of Omi, is characterized by its exquisite balance of high-quality fat and flavorful red meat. To let you savor the true taste of Omi beef, we prepared it as a grilled steak on a ceramic plate. Please enjoy it with a small amount of salt or wasabi soy sauce. Starting July 2026, a new facility called 'Wayu Yamaboushi' will be opened inside the facility. Target shooting, Tosenkyo, Othello, and Hikone Carrom, etc. This is an experience space where you can easily enjoy traditional games enjoyed by both children and adults. Additionally, we have prepared four uniquely designed capsule toys throughout the facility! We provide our staying guests with a special medal called "Yuzansen." You can enjoy capsule toys with different items at the Wayu Yamaboushi shop, café, and large public bath. Among them, the 'Wayu Yamaboushi' capsule toy is a bit special. Contains corks that can be used for Yamaboushi's famous "target hitting," allowing everyone to enjoy traditional games. Normally, we give one Yuzansen medal per person. With this plan, we will give you double the chance to enjoy it even more: '2 tickets'! *The Yuzanzen Coin is available to adults and children (children who have made a reservation with 'meal + futon'). In July 2026, the Executive Satoyama was reborn. **Executive Satoyama**, a popular upper-floor guest room with an open-air bath at Oyado Sanso, has been renovated. With this renovation, the guest room's open-air bath has been completely revamped, creating a more comfortable and luxurious bathing experience. In your room, you can enjoy the bath immediately upon arrival without waiting for the water to fill, and the water temperature is consistently maintained. Take a bath before dinner. Relax during the quiet hours of the night. In the morning, enjoy the view of Lake Biwa as you wake up.
