What should I do if I have an accident?
In the event of an accident, please stop driving immediately and take the following actions (1) First aid the injured. Both the injured party and the victim are obligated to report the accident to the police. A certificate of accident will be required at a later date, so please follow the necessary procedures. In the unlikely event of an accident, compensation will be provided within the prescribed compensation limits. However, damages that are not covered by the insurance and damages that exceed the compensation limit will be borne entirely by the customer, The customer will be responsible for any damage that is not covered by the insurance and any damage that exceeds the coverage limit. If you subscribe to the Standard Plan or the Full Support Plan at the time of reservation or contract, the deductible for property and vehicle coverage will be waived in the event of an accident, except in the following cases. Can I extend the period of use (time)?
Please note that we may not be able to extend the reservation depending on the number of reservations. Please check with the departure office before extending the tour.
What should I do if I have a flat tire?
If you are driving, please stop at a safe place first. After that, please contact the store of departure. If a vehicle not equipped with a spare tire sustains a flat tire, use a flat tire repair kit. Please contact the store of departure for details on how to use the kit. Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of tire replacement, repair of damaged tires, tire costs, and lost wheel caps.
Can I rent a car even if I am a beginner (less than one year after obtaining a driver's license)?
Yes, you can rent a car. If you need Wakaba mark (beginner's), please request it to us in advance due to the limited number of them.
Can I rent a car with an international driver's license?
Yes. However, in order to drive in Japan, you must present a driver's license (1 or 2) and passport (3). Please check the information below. 1.International driver's license based on the Geneva Convention Driving with an international driver's license obtained in a country that is a signatory to the Paris Convention (1926), Washington Convention (1943), or Vienna Convention (1968) is not allowed in Japan. Please bring the original. Photocopies are not acceptable. 2.Foreign driver's license and official Japanese translation issued in the applicable countries and regions Applicable countries and regions: Swiss Confederation, Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of France, Kingdom of Belgium, Principality of Monaco and Taiwan. Japanese translation: Translated text in Japanese prepared by a person designated by government ordinance.
