Hilton Tokyo Odaiba 2026: Renovated Rooms & Dining, Award-Winning Spa, and Stunning Bay Views
Odaiba is unlike any other corner of Tokyo — built on the edge of Tokyo Bay, this waterfront district trades the city's narrow alleys for broad promenades, open sky, and a panorama that sweeps from Rainbow Bridge all the way to Tokyo Tower.
Hilton Tokyo Odaiba sits right at the heart of it all, just a short walk from the water, and 2026 marks the beginning of an ambitious new chapter for the hotel: a phased two-year renovation that is gradually renewing guest rooms, the executive lounge, the restaurant, and the lobby — all while the hotel remains open throughout. Seascape Terrace Dining has already completed its transformation and reopened, as well as some of the guest rooms, with the rest of the hotel following in stages. We checked in for the opening chapter of that evolution — an early glimpse of what Hilton Tokyo Odaiba is becoming.

Access and Check-in
Getting to Hilton Tokyo Odaiba is straightforward from the city — or direct from the airport. The Yurikamome Line runs elevated above the bay from Shinbashi, and as the train curves out over the water toward Odaiba, views of Rainbow Bridge and the city skyline open up on both sides. Step off at Daiba Station and the hotel is a one-minute walk. An alternative is the Rinkai Line, which stops at Tokyo Teleport Station, about a ten-minute walk away.
For those arriving from the airports, limousine buses serve the hotel directly: journey times are approximately 75 minutes from Narita Airport and 20 minutes from Haneda Airport, making the hotel a convenient first or last stop on any Japan itinerary.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. When we entered the hotel, the smell of rich sencha welcomed us. The lobby was designed with an image of an ocean, including handrails designed with images of bubbles and waves, as well as other decorations with an ocean motif. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, with English-speaking staff available on-site for those more comfortable in English
Guests in executive rooms or above can check in at the Executive Lounge, where complimentary snacks and drinks are available.
Also to note, the hotel is a Tokyo Disney Resort® Good Neighbor Hotel, which means a complimentary shuttle service to Tokyo Disney Resort is available for guests who want to add a theme park day to their trip (reservations required).
All guest rooms include a private balcony that offers amazing views — the Shinagawa cityscape on one side, Tokyo Bay and the open horizon on the other. This time we stayed in the Deluxe Room Rainbow Bridge View, which faces Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge.
The room was spacious and cozy, with enough room to open big luggage. The room includes amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, water, a pot and tea bags, as well as instant coffee. The highlight of this room is the view; from the balcony, some of Tokyo’s most iconic attractions can be seen at once, including the Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree, the Rainbow Bridge, and Tokyo’s city lights.
Rooms come in a range of configurations to suit different travel styles, with options available in both twin and king bed layouts. For those wanting more, executive rooms and suites include access to the Executive Lounge — a dedicated space offering complimentary breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, making them a particularly good choice for a more self-contained and relaxed stay.
A Freshly Renovated Restaurant with a Front-Row View of the Bay
After settling in it was time for dinner. We headed to the Seascape Terrace Dining, the hotel's buffet restaurant, which reopened in July 2026 following renovation.
The interior features white and ivory tones with accents of gold and warm earth colors, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Tokyo Bay, the Rainbow Bridge, and Tokyo Tower.
Dinner is a buffet themed around wellness, including dishes using fresh fish from nearby Toyosu Market and other seasonal ingredients.
One of their signature dishes is the soft and tasty domestic sirloin roast beef, which is freshly sliced in front of you.
Another highlight is the DIY ramen section. You can boil and strain the noodles, add the soup, and select your favorite toppings for your own one-of-a-kind ramen.
There’s also an automatic rice-serving machine; you just place your bowl underneath, hit a button, and a perfect portion of fluffy rice drops right in.
The photogenic but also very delicious sweets are also a must-try. There were around 20 different sweets such as cakes and mousses that use seasonal fruits and colorful edible flowers.
For drinks, seasonal cocktails and mocktails change with the menu, alongside wine, champagne, and a broad selection designed to be enjoyed against the backdrop of the bay.
You may be able to make a reservation after checking in if there are seats available, but since it gets crowded on some days, it is recommended to make a reservation beforehand, which can be done online.

Enjoy the Night View
The Odaiba waterfront is right outside — and at night, the bay transforms. The Rainbow Bridge shimmers across the water, and if you time it right, the Tokyo Aqua Symphony fountain show runs until 9:30 p.m., with free viewings from the park just steps from the hotel. You can take a stroll along the promenade, or if your room is on the Rainbow Bridge side, admire the view from your balcony
We made our way to the hotel's spa for our 8:00 PM appointment. You may be able to make an appointment on the day of if there are available slots, but you can make a booking via e-mail beforehand to secure a slot.
We had booked the Aromatherapy Body treatment — a 60-minute aroma oil session that is popular among international guests. What sets this treatment apart is the use of essential oils extracted domestically in Japan: the result is a collection of fragrances that feel distinctly Japanese in character.
Before the actual treatment, there was a consultation session where we were able to relax with a cup of tea and pick out the oil for the treatment. There were three options: Hinoki Shirakaba, Yuzu Mikan, and Yuzu Sakura.
The treatment was very refreshing; the bed was very warm and with the gentle oil massage, we were able to unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in a truly serene setting. The spa has won the World Luxury Spa Awards in 2025 for the Best Luxury Ocean View Spa in East Asia, and some people come in just for the spa treatments.
After the treatment, we went to the lounge, where we were offered hot tea and snacks, as well as a beautiful night view of the Tokyo Bay where we were able to catch the Tokyo Aqua Symphony water fountain show.
Besides the treatments, the spa's shared facilities include an indoor pool, whirlpools, an aroma mist sauna, and a dry sauna, with views of the bay, Tokyo Tower, and beyond. The view from the outdoor whirlpool is especially stunning with the bay right in front of you.

After a good night’s sleep, we headed back down to Seascape Terrace Dining for breakfast.
Breakfast is also served as a buffet, featuring Japanese and Western dishes.
There are two live cooking stations, one featuring Focaccia Croque Madame and French toast, and the other featuring omelets. The French toast was soft and delicious with the berry sauce and the whipped cream.
Other highlights include tamago kake gohan (raw eggs over rice) with various options for soy sauce such as gluten free soy sauce and Halal soy sauce, and even ramen for breakfast!
From morning ramen to made-to-order French toast, the sheer variety was almost overwhelming — in the best way — and we left the table far fuller and happier than planned.

Other Highlights
At the lobby, there is a book corner featuring different children’s books in different languages. It’s a great spot for families, but even for adults it’s interesting to see some of your favorite books from your childhood in a different language.
There’s also a sweets and deli stand near the lobby which was inspired by food stands in Paris. The stand sells sweets, delis, and drinks that you can purchase to bring back to enjoy in your room or bring back as souvenirs. The croissant and some of the baked goods are also available at the breakfast buffet.
A room spray with the sencha scent that welcomed us in the lobby can also be purchased here.
Check-out is at 12:00 p.m. For those who have already paid and have no additional payment, there is a non-stop check out box to return your key so you don’t need to wait in line at the reception desk for check-out.
After checking out, the Odaiba waterfront is right on your doorstep — making it easy to continue exploring before heading to your next destination.
Hilton Tokyo Odaiba's location makes it an ideal base for the attractions that surround it. Here are the highlights within easy reach.
Tokyo Aqua Symphony
Opened at Odaiba Marine Park in March 2026, Tokyo Aqua Symphony is one of the world's largest fountain shows — jets rise 492 feet (150 meters) into the air across an 820-foot-wide display (250 meters), with choreography synchronized to music. Shows run daily from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (10 performances per day, each around 10 minutes) and admission is free — simply head to the park and find a spot.
Those staying at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba can also watch the show from the hotel’s lobby, and from the Rainbow Bridge side rooms.
Please note that shows may be cancelled due to weather and other reasons; check official website for the latest updates.
The park surrounding Tokyo Aqua Symphony stretches along the bay with a sandy artificial beach, wide promenades, and unobstructed views of Rainbow Bridge. A morning walk along the waterfront before the day crowds arrive is one of the quieter pleasures of staying in this part of Tokyo — the bridge, the bay, and the city skyline are particularly photogenic in the early light.
For those wanting to browse or pick up souvenirs before heading home, Aqua City Odaiba and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza are both within easy walking distance of the hotel to do some shopping. If you’re looking to spend some time besides shopping, Tokyo Joypolis, an indoor amusement park, is located inside DECKS Tokyo Beach, as well as LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Tokyo. There’s also a Round1 Stadium nearby for activities such as roller skating, arcade games, and multipurpose courts for sports such as badminton.
Hilton Tokyo Odaiba combines an exceptional location with a hotel that has the substance to match — a freshly renovated restaurant with sweeping bay views, an internationally award-winning spa, and guest rooms where Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo skyline are part of the scenery. Whether you're planning a weekend escape or using it as a base for a longer Tokyo stay, it earns its place as one of the city's most memorable hotels.
