Ikaho Onsen Chigira Jinsentei

Chiaki Jinsentei was a favorite lodging of the Meiji era literary figure Tokutomi Roka, who loved Ikaho. This plan is a bed-and-breakfast plan without meals. The rich, unchanging spring waters of the Golden Hot Springs and the mountain ranges of Joshu and Tanigawadake spread out in the endless clear sky. The stone steps are just outside the hotel entrance. Final check-in is at 8 p.m. Please note: If you do not arrive by 8 p.m., the final check-in time, without contacting us, we will treat your reservation as a cancellation (no show). We will call you after 6 p.m. to confirm. Payment cannot be made between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following morning. If you would like to check out during this time, please inform the front desk by 8 p.m. This plan does not include meals. We will introduce you to nearby restaurants, so please let us know. ・This plan is only available on certain days designated by the hotel. ◆Hot Springs◆ There are large public baths, private baths, and open-air baths. All baths are 100% free-flowing "Golden Hot Springs". ◆Large public baths◆ There are two in the main building, with alternating use by men and women. "Nino-yu": 1m deep! The symbolic large bath of the hotel "Taki-yu": A large bath where the water flows down like a waterfall Opening hours: 15:00 - 9:30 *The changing time is around 1:00 am. ◆Family baths◆ There are four in the main building, all free of charge. No reservation required, you can use it anytime if it is available. Opening hours: 15:00 - 9:30 *Showers are available. ◆Open-air baths◆ Separated for men and women, adjacent to the annex "Tsuru no Ie". (Stairs available from the main building) Opening hours: 15:00-21:00, 6:00-9:30 the next morning *Indoor bath and shower available. *Sauna is currently unavailable. *Children under 1 year old are free. Two rooms on the 1st floor of the main building were renovated and reopened in 2021.Enjoy a room with an open-air bath featuring naturally flowing hot spring water.You can fully enjoy the Golden Hot Spring in your room.The room type includes a bedroom + Japanese-style room + wide veranda.From the window, you can view the mountains toward Lake Haruna or the Joshu mountain range. ◆Meals◆ For dinner, we will prepare banquet cuisine focusing on local ingredients. The main dish is sukiyaki made with Akagi beef or Joshu beef from Gunma Prefecture. For breakfast, we will prepare healthy Japanese cuisine. The dining location will be either a private dining area or your room. ※The dining location will be at our discretion and will be informed on the day. ※Please note that the dining location cannot be specified in advance. ◆ Hot Springs ◆ Our facility includes a large public bath, an open-air bath, and private baths. All baths feature 100% natural hot spring water from the 'Golden Spring,' flowing directly from the source. ◆ Large Bath ◆ There are two locations in the main building with alternating schedules for men and women. 'Nino-Yu': Depth 1m!The iconic large bathhouse of our inn 'Taki-Yu': A grand bath where water flows down like a waterfall Usage time: 3:00 PM to 9:30 AM *The bath switches around 1:00 AM. ◆Family Bath◆ There are four locations in the main building, all free of charge. No reservation needed; you can use it anytime if it's available.
