Sasaki Sake Brewery is the only sake brewery still standing in the Kyoto area, celebrating its 130th anniversary since its founding. The brewery is located on the site of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's residence, Jurakudai, which is said to have been a samurai residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu.
