Guesthouse Kura, Suzaka City, Nagano Prefecture, opened on October 6, 2012! This building, which has been ticking away since the Meiji era, has been revived as a guesthouse! We renovated it ourselves while preserving its good old appearance from over 140 years ago. The people of Suzaka who live here and travelers from all over the world who visit here gather in the lounge, where you can relax in the warmth of the wood. The encounters you make here may add some wonderful memories to your trip! [About the rooms] - This is a private room plan recommended for couples and families who want to enjoy a guesthouse. - As it is a private room, you will not be sharing with other guests, but the toilet and shower room are shared. There is no bathtub, and you can only use the shower. - There are no TVs or yukatas in the rooms. - Please refrain from eating and drinking in the rooms. Thank you for your cooperation. - Wifi is available in private rooms. - Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation. Please smoke in the designated areas. - Don't worry, the rooms are air-conditioned. You can rest comfortably in both summer and winter. - Electric blankets and hot water bottles are also provided in winter.

A plan to stay on the second floor of the detached house "Mayukura" located at the back of the Guesthouse Kura site. [Notes] This detached house does not have any plumbing facilities such as toilets or showers. The guest rooms of Guesthouse Kura, toilets, shower rooms, and kitchens are located in the main house on the site, so you can share them. Please note that Mayukura does not have a restroom. There is a general store called "Sketch in hike" on the first floor of Mayukura. You cannot stay in the rooms during the general store's business hours. Therefore, the use of the rooms at Mayukura is as follows. Check-in: 16:00-22:00 Entry into the room: After 17:00 (check-in day) Leaving the room: Until 10:00 (check-out day) Check-out: Until 11:00 We renovated the house ourselves while preserving the good old appearance of the old house that has been standing since the Meiji era for over 100 years. There are many delicious restaurants and izakayas around the inn that we recommend. Most are within walking distance! Free parking is also available. Good access to Zenkoji Temple and Obuse in Nagano! On sunny days, many guests take a leisurely bike ride to Obuse. From here, it is also convenient for hiking to hidden hot springs, Yonago Falls, and Mt. Nekodake.
