A standalone tatami-mat inn bordered by Miyajima and the Seto Inland Sea.
It's one step beyond being moved to tears. Itsukushima and the mountain ranges of the mainland spread out, as if embracing the calm Seto Bay. This sense of peace is not found anywhere else, even in the Seto Inland Sea. For ancient fishermen, the sea with white waves was an exciting stage, but before going out to the open sea and after returning from the open sea, this place on Itsukushima was a place of peace, healing and regeneration. Anyone who has seen tourist sites all over Japan and the world will say that there is no better place in the world. I strolled from the ferry to Miyajima. I climbed the stone steps on the cliff of Yogayama, a small hill in front of the pier. A small deer slowly led the way ahead. I followed the deer. I just walked slowly, aimlessly through the town and the coast. The forest, man-made nature, old buildings and towns are dignified and peaceful, and the information density is high. Each young pine tree and each stone step is beautiful. However, Miyajima is the perfect place to just hang out and stay. This room has the best view, overlooking the ocean on the second floor in the center of Sekitei. The small room, about 8 tatami mats in size, and the counter and bath facing the garden create a unique feeling of comfort. Check-in at the inn is at 3:00 p.m., check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

Itsukushima and the mainland mountains spread out, enveloping the calm Setonoura Bay. Tears are one step away from being moving. This sense of peace is not found anywhere else, even in the Seto Inland Sea. However, this room contains my favorite Mogensen sofa and Larsen Elizabeth chair. Both are silver and vermilion, giving them a lustrous shine. The small room adjacent to the bathroom through the window is also designed with a meaningful meaning. My favorite thing is the small study with an antique drawer hidden behind a sliding paper screen. I wonder why things like this aren't commonly reproduced. Check-in at the inn is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

It's one step beyond being moved to tears. Itsukushima and the mountain ranges of the mainland spread out, as if embracing the calm of Setonoura Bay. There is no other place like this, even in the Seto Inland Sea. For ancient fishermen, the sea with its white waves was an exciting stage, but before going out to the open sea and after returning from the open sea, this place on Itsukushima was a place of peace, healing and regeneration. I disembarked from the ferry and strolled around Miyajima. I climbed the stone steps of the cliff of Yogayama, a small hill in front of the pier. A small deer slowly led the way ahead. I followed the deer. I simply walked slowly, aimlessly through the town and the coast. The forest, man-made nature, old architecture and town are dignified and peaceful, and the information density is high. Each young pine tree and each stone step is beautiful. But Miyajima is the perfect place to just wander and stay. If you sit in the rocking chair in front of the low counter by the window in this room, you will likely find yourself chasing the clouds without even realizing it. The picture book I picked out to place next to the chair was a picture book of clouds with a poem by Miyazawa Kenji. It's worn out now, but I've repaired it many times and it's still a book I have today. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
