The hot springs are natural, free-flowing from the source within the facility. Without heating or adding water, the soft and gentle texture of the water is a defining feature. The sodium-chloride bicarbonate spring is mildly alkaline and is renowned as a beauty bath, leaving the skin smooth after bathing. Breathe deeply in the steamy air, surrounded by the morning light. Enjoy the morning at Shirasagi-so, where doing nothing transforms into richness. Our facility is about a 10-minute drive from the Hitoyoshi IC on the Kyushu Expressway. It is nestled in a quiet mountain area, slightly away from the center of Hitoyoshi City. Hot Springs On the first floor of the main building, we provide spacious public baths, family baths, and private baths. (Available hours: 6:00–9:00 / 16:00–22:30) The detached rooms are equipped with indoor baths, which can be converted into semi-open-air baths by opening the windows, available for use 24 hours a day. *Dinner is not included in this plan. All rooms are non-smoking (smoking area available). Breakfast start time - 8:00 or 8:30. Please specify your desired start time in the remarks section when making a reservation. For hygiene reasons, we kindly ask that you refrain from using heating services such as microwaves. When going out, please do so after checking in. For guests staying in the main building, the curfew is at 22:30 (the main entrance will be auto-locked). The guest rooms on the second floor of the main building do not have private baths (there is a family bath on the first floor). For groups of three or more, we will prepare the futons prior to your arrival.

This is a standard plan with breakfast and dinner included. Over 100 years since its founding. Severely damaged by the Kumamoto heavy rains in July of Reiwa 2 (2020), our establishment was rebuilt after 2 years and 9 months and had a grand reopening in April of Reiwa 5 (2023). On the approximately 2,000 tsubo (6,600 m²) grounds, there is a spring water pond selected as one of the 'Heisei Famous Water 100,' with the main building located around it. Beyond the connecting corridors, there are detached guest rooms where you can enjoy serene solitude. Meals ・Dinner We colorfully prepare mountain village cuisine featuring seasonal ingredients from Hitoyoshi Kuma, such as carp sashimi, horse sashimi, grilled or raw river fish, and shabu-shabu or steak made with Kurohana beef. ・Breakfast A Japanese-style breakfast set is offered with locally produced white rice, including homemade overnight-dried fish, seasonal small dishes, and tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet).
