For the detached guestrooms, we offer two types: a traditional Japanese-style room and a Japanese-Western-style room combining a tatami room and a Western-style bedroom. Both room types are equipped with a private open-air hot spring bath flowing directly from the source. Since the baths are covered, you can enjoy them anytime, regardless of the weather, 24 hours a day. Soak in the hot spring in your room or relax on the tatami mat. Spend your time freely in the mountain village of Aso, without worrying about the clock. Detached room The detached guestrooms come in two types: Japanese-style and Japanese-Western-style. The Japanese-style room is a fully traditional room where you can relax while enjoying the scent of tatami mats. The Japanese-Western-style room includes a tatami area and a Western-style bedroom with two beds. Both room types are equipped with a private open-air hot spring bath flowing directly from the source. Hot Spring In addition to the private open-air bath in your room, you can also enjoy the hot springs within the facility. The panoramic open-air bath offers views of the Aso mountain range and rural landscape, and it is a mixed-gender bath where wearing a T-shirt or towel is allowed. Besides gender-segregated indoor and open-air baths, there are also three private-use baths within the facility. Meals For dinner, enjoy the "Kumamoto Three Grand Delicacies Kaiseki," featuring ingredients from Kumamoto and Aso, such as charcoal-grilled Aso Akaushi beef, Kumamoto's specialty horse sashimi, and Shichijo pork shabu-shabu. For breakfast, we serve a Japanese-style meal centered around freshly cooked rice from our in-house cultivated variety, "Akigeshiki."
