Asama Onsen is the inner sanctum of the castle town of Matsumoto, Shinshu. "Asama Onsen Kikunoyu" is a stately inn built in the style of a main building and located in Asama Onsen. Step inside and you will find a calm and quiet space. Please relax and enjoy to your heart's content. ■Meals [Dinner] Taking advantage of the natural bounty of Shinshu, please enjoy a variety of flavors that are carefully prepared with time and effort using plenty of seasonal ingredients. [Breakfast] We offer a healthy breakfast that is typical of Shinshu, including plump, freshly cooked Nagano rice, miso soup made with country miso, and homemade tofu. ■Meal location You will be dining in a Japanese-style restaurant with the atmosphere of an old folk house. There will be chairs and tables. On the first floor, we have "Oimatsu," and on the second floor, we have "Shinano," where you can enjoy the beautiful ceiling beams. ■Hot spring Asama Onsen is an alkaline simple hot spring that is gentle on the skin. It is a hot spring that is gentle on the body, so it can be used safely by children and the elderly. The large public bath is alternated between men and women. Please enjoy the two baths, the "Kikuburo" and the "Kimuburo". ■Highlights of the hotel This hotel is a reproduction of an old traditional house with a traditional hon-mune style building in the Matsumoto region, and the warmth of the wood creates a gentle atmosphere despite its solidity.
