    1 Night, 2 Meals Included Plan Experience the World Heritage Kumano Kodo, hot springs bubbling up from the riverbed, open-air baths, and the great outdoors! In spring, summer, and autumn, dig your own hot spring on the riverbed!In winter, the 'Sennin Bath,' a large open-air bath, appears on the riverbed. Since you can enjoy the riverbed open-air bath year-round at Kawayu Onsen, swimsuits are essential anytime. Please make sure to bring your swimsuit. At Kawayu Onsen, you can enjoy the river's open-air bath all year round, so don't forget to bring a swimsuit, whether it's winter or summer. Both dinner and breakfast are hearty and satisfying! Dinner includes seasonal hot pots and grilled fish like ayu and amago freshly caught locally! <Breakfast> 7:00〜9:00 Egg dishes, grilled fish, salad, duck roast, three small side dishes, miso soup. The rice is 'Kumano rice' and the eggs are fresh free-range eggs from Hongu Town. <Dinner> 19:00. A hearty seasonal hot pot, grilled fish such as local-caught sweetfish and amago. Vegetable tempura, sashimi, and two small side dishes. * We do not accommodate allergies for any meals. * The menu may change depending on the season and availability. Kawayu Onsen is a hot spring area located just 5 minutes by car from Kumano Kodo, a World Heritage site, and Hongu Taisha. It is a rare hot spring where the water wells up from the riverbed and riverbank. The indoor baths are also hot springs, but the open-air bath is located by the riverbank. The Yakushi-no-Yu bath on the opposite shore is a built-in rock bath. And if you go downstream from the inn, you can find hot springs emerging from the riverbank, and even create your own open-air bath! Rental shovels are also available!
