Japan|Age: 40s|Family with kid(s)2Posted: 9/5/2023初めての湯田川温泉の旅でこちらの宿に宿泊しました。 部屋の件、食事内容の件で、数日前に電話をして担当の方とお話をしました。 HPで確認したところ料理内容が孟宗の膳は5月9日〜となっていたので、5月2日の宿泊では違うコースなのだろうと思っていたところ、「今年は筍が早いので孟宗の膳になる」と言われとても嬉しく電話をきりました。対応もすごく良かったので気分良く電話をきりました。 しかし当日の夕飯の個室に行くと明らかに孟宗の膳ではなかった為、確認したところ、「電話を担当したものに確認しましたが、孟宗の膳は9日〜になります。でも孟宗汁は用意できました。そう話はした…」といった感じで電話での会話はこちらの聞き違いのような感じの対応をされました。 そんな聞き違いはあるでしょうか？？電話でも「嬉しいです！！」と私は言ったと思います。 この件では、最初は料理を運んでくれる係の方に聞いたのですが、確認しに行き戻ってきても別の話をして一切孟宗の膳の話はしないで立ち去ろうとしたり、「孟宗の膳ではなくがっかりです。ちょっとねぇ（ひどいですよね…といった意味で）」とこちらが言っても「ありがとうございます」と的外れの返事。何を言っても「ありがとうございます」というばかりで話にならず。 旅好きで旅行は年に何度もしており色んな宿に宿泊しています。 このようなことは初めてで夕飯の時間はほぼ無言状態で何を食べたかも覚えてない程、嫌な気分になりました。山形旅行では会う人会う人がみんな親切でとても良い旅だったので宿での出来事にはがっかりです。 朝ご飯は美味しくいただきました。 塩納豆がどこで買えるか教えてくれたりと朝の担当してくださった若い女性はとても好印象でした。 今後、宿泊することはないです。

食事は個室でゆっくり食べることができました。朝ごはんは種類も多く大変美味しかったです。ゆっくりと過ごすことができました。

家族で来ました。お宿の方は丁寧だし、お部屋は清潔だし、お料理がとても美味しい！数年前一度来て、また来たいと思ってましたが、コロナでなかなか来れず。食欲無かった病気の母がお料理を殆ど平らげびっくりしました。お風呂のお湯も優しい泉質で、とても温まります。寝具も寝やすくサービスも良くて、また来たいお宿でした。

10月27日宿泊しました。お月見と言う部屋でした。室内照明が、お月様をイメージした様な照明、トイレも間接照明などちょっとお洒落な感じがしました。 食事は一つひとつは「これ！」と言った逸品はありませんが、どれも、工夫をした料理と盛り付けで、目と舌の両方で美味しく、大変満足です。係の方の挨拶、にこやかで親切な対応をして頂き、全て満足でした。夕食の日本酒、種類も豊富で超おすすめです。私は、はくろうすいのフェアリー55がおすすめです。

・All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is strictly prohibited outside of designated smoking areas (Toki no Yakata smoking corner). Electronic cigarettes (heating type such as IQOS, liquid type such as VAPE) will be the same for the time being.
・Please note that the dinner menu will be the same if you are staying consecutive nights. For breakfast, we will prepare a different menu for 2 nights.
・Please note that if you stay consecutive nights at Kyubei Ryokan and Gegyokuya, there will be some common menus.
・Children over the age of 10 (or over 4th grade) can use this service. (You can use our sister house Gegyokuya.) If you are traveling with children, please let us know their ages.
・If you live overseas, please make a reservation by online credit card payment, or contact us with your home address, phone number, and name when paying locally.
・Adults are required to pay a bathing tax of 150 yen separately. Children under 12 are not required.
・There is no elevator in the building. Guest rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Please contact us if you have difficulty going up and down stairs.
・The hotel does not face the main street and is located in a very difficult place to find. There are many people who get lost when they come so close, so please check the "Access" on the Rakuten Travel website.
