Hoei Ryokan is located a 7-minute walk from JR Fukui. The hotel offers cozy accommodation with warm hospitality. Japanese meals prepared with seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients are served. After passing through the ticket gate of Fukui station please head toward West Exit Square on your right. Stand of buckwheat noodle restaurant is on the corner. Walk to the right from West Exit Square and cross the crosswalk in front of your eyes. Store of Habutae-mochi rice cakes ( famous sweets in Fukui ) is on the front. Guests may enjoy shopping for souvenirs. After crossing this crosswalk, cross the crosswalk on your right and keep walking straight. Turn left at the second corner ( you'll see Fukui-Ote building on your left ). Pass through Grand Hotel Fukui and you will reach moat of Fukui castle. After you reach moat of Fukui castle cross the crosswalk and walk straight ahead. You will see nameboard of NHK Fukui broadcast station and there is nameboard of Houei Ryokan on the power pole. Please cross the crosswalk in front of NHK and walk toward left for 20 meters to next crosswalk. Turn right at this crosswalk and this is the last crosswalk. You will see nameboard of Houei Ryokan on the power pole again. Please walk 80 meters and you will reach our hotel
