Keiryuso Shiorie is a 5 minute walk from Sawatari Bus Station. As the newest ryokan between Kamikochi and Okuhida, and four-time winner of Rakuten Travel Awards, Shiorie only has 8 rooms to provide the best hospitality to customers. The tradional Japanese rooms with tatami mats feature Kotatsu (Japanese foot warmer) in the winter, and some feature a private bath. The cuisine is traditional Kaiseki, prepared by chefs using local ingredients. Local sake, a large onsen, and an open-air bath in a cave complete the ambience.
