名古屋駅がめちゃくちゃ近いです、あおなみ線は目と鼻の先です。 近くに飲食店が多いですが連休は混んでるので逆に食事が難しいです。 寝る時に宿に戻るだけなので多くは求めませんが、ハンドソープ、洗顔やくしなどアメニティが無いので必要な方は自分で持っていくのがいいです。(歯ブラシはあります) 2階に電子レンジがあるのが助かりました。 お風呂は少し狭いです、シャワーノズルが壊れてて水が漏れます。 廊下の天井が低かったり、レトロなホテルですが数日滞在する分には十分な設備です。レトロも一興です。 ただ一点引っ掛かっているのが、禁煙の部屋にしたのですが布団がタバコ臭いのか、部屋が臭いました。持って帰った服にも全部匂いが移ってました。 冷房はめっちゃ効きます。 また名古屋駅で泊まる時は値段と相談しつつ候補に入れます。

駅すぐそばで立地は完璧でした。 昔ながらのホテルという感じでノスタルジーを感じました。 そこまではよかったのですが、おそらく古い施設のため禁煙ルームであったものの蓄積したタバコの匂いが部屋に充満しており、旅路で疲れた中リラックスできず気分が悪くなりました。持参した部屋着で一晩寝たところ、その服にまでタバコの匂いがついており帰ってきた時にびっくりしました。リフォームされるまでは再び来訪することはないだろうと思います。
