'Toba's oldest drilled hot spring' discovered in the first year of Heisei (1989) features soft water with a pH of 9.4. The Shin Shukou no Yu, discovered in 2014, boasts water with a pH of 9.8, making it one of the top springs in Ise-Shima! It's a locally renowned 'Beauty Bath'! The large communal bath is available for use throughout the night (cleaning is conducted only from 10:00 to 11:00 the next morning).
