Gamagori, a seaside city surrounded by the Atsumi Peninsula and Chita Peninsula, has four hot springs and is said to be the largest hot spring city in Aichi Prefecture. Mitani Onsen, which has the longest history, having been founded 1,200 years ago, is one of the most prominent hot springs in Aichi Prefecture. Our hotel in Mitani Onsen is located on a hill overlooking Mikawa Bay, and is a hot spring hotel that boasts a quiet location surrounded by nature and a spectacular open-air bath overlooking the sea. The hot spring is neither too hot nor too lukewarm, and is just the right temperature for a comfortable bath. For meals, enjoy kaiseki cuisine centered on seafood, which is unique to a seaside town and is popular among locals who are particular about food. In the restaurant, seasonal tempura and fresh grilled fish are prepared on the spot by experienced chefs, so you can enjoy freshly fried and grilled dishes. The rooms you stay in are simple yet Japanese-style rooms with a calming Japanese atmosphere. We also have many larger rooms that are perfect for trips with three generations or large groups, so please choose the room that suits your needs.
