Reopened in May 2021, this hotel features authentic Italian cuisine supervised by Italian master Mario Frittoli. ~ Mario Frittoli ~ Born in Pavia, Lombardy, the capital of Milan, Italy in 1966, raised in Tuscany. Since the farm restaurant was next to my birthplace, I helped with cooking and taking care of the fields from an early age, serving food to my friends. 1980 Studied for 4 years at the Institute Alpeguiro Cooking School. Studied under Angelo Parakicchi, who has been called the god of pasta since 1984. After that, after working at the 2-star restaurant [Il Carpaccio], he refined his technique under the French master Paul Bocuse. In 1987, he came to Japan as the head chef of Daimaru, Shinsaibashi, Kyoto. Moved to California but returned to Japan in 1991. In 2002, the independent and joint management "Restaurant Luxor Shirokanedai" was opened. After that, Nishi-Azabu "Mario i Sentieri" opened in 2008 and continues to the present day.
