Reopened after renovations in August 2021. About three minutes on foot to the Yubatake hot spring water source. Highly rated for our Japanese cuisine using local and seasonal ingredients.
Kusatsu Onsen is located at an altitude of 1200m, and is cool in summer and bitterly cold in winter. The hot springs, which are based on the principle of quality, are of course free-flowing from the source. Please enjoy the high-quality waters of Kusatsu. After bathing, why not change into your favorite yukata and head out to the lively hot spring town? <Food> ◇Dinner: Seasonal Japanese course meal ◇Breakfast: Set meal with a focus on locally produced ingredients [Dining] Dinner: Dining Breakfast: Dining <Hot springs> You can enjoy two different hot springs in our large bath. The hot springs of the "Yubata" indoor bath and the hot springs of the "Bandaiko" open-air bath. Both are highly acidic, with the Yubatake hot springs at a pH of 2.10, which will warm you to the core. The Bandaiko hot springs at an amazing pH of 1.60. This strong acidity is the secret behind the sterilizing power of Kusatsu Onsen. Most bacteria and germs cannot grow in the baths and disappear. This is why it is said to be effective for hot spring therapy. The "private open-air bath in a detached building (additional charge of 3,300 yen)" with water drawn from Bandai mine is also very popular! *In addition to the displayed price, adults will be charged a separate bathing tax of 150 yen. (Payable on the day) *If you have children under the age of 2, please fill in the remarks column and be sure to let us know in advance. There is no need to enter this information on the number of people entry screen. *Children cannot stay in the room type [Tokiwakan Low Bed Twin]. Thank you for your understanding.
