In addition to warm current fish like tuna, bonito, mackerel, horse mackerel, and sardines, the area is rich in cold current fish such as salmon, trout, saury, and cod, as well as natural rockfish species like greenling, black rockfish, flounder, and flatfish. It also provides an ideal environment for the growth of abalone, wakame seaweed, kombu, sea urchin, and sea cucumber. At the Nagisatei Taro-an, we procure seafood carefully selected based on years of expertise and offer dishes that maximize the natural flavors of the ingredients.
