Ryo Koji, located at the foot of Aso's outer rim mountains, is a Jodo Shinshu Otani-ha temple with a breathtaking view of Mount Aso. Nearby walking trails include the Takezaki Spring, which boasts a water flow of 120 tons per minute, and there is also a hot spring facility about a 3-minute drive away. For the Vegetarian Cuisine Shokado Course plan, enjoy a meal inspired by 'otoki,' a meal served after Buddhist ceremonies, featuring creative dishes prepared by the temple caretaker using locally sourced seasonal vegetables. For breakfast, savor vegan bread made by the head priest using local flour. Since only one group is accepted per day, you can relax in a 50-square meter space. ◆Meals◆ Dinner: Shojin cuisine, created by the temple's wife, based on traditional Buddhist vegetarian meals.
