An old-fashioned historical inn that retains the nostalgic atmosphere of visiting a grandmother's house in the countryside.
☆Enjoy our highest grade special dishes, recommended for those who want to try a variety of ingredients from Kumamoto and Aso in small portions. ■Meals■ Dinner: Kaiseki cuisine using the "power of the earth" and delicious meat from Aso and Kumamoto. High quality special dishes. *For the main dish, please enjoy the low-calorie and delicious [Kumamoto Akagyu beef and vegetables steamed in a bamboo steamer]. The Akagyu beef is the special loin. We are open from 18:00. The vegetables we use are grown in our own fields, in this region of Oguni-go, and in other areas of Kumamoto and Kyushu. Other recommended dishes from Kumamoto include red trout sashimi, horse sashimi, salt-grilled Yamame trout, and the main dish of Kumamoto Akagyu beef. The plums served with the aperitif are grown in our own fields and pickled by all the staff. We also use our own rice, grown with pure water, or rice from contracted farmers. The pickles we serve are also handmade at our inn. ◆Kumamoto's specialty, horse sashimi, is low in calories, has several times more iron and calcium than other meats, and is a fresh product with no unpleasant odor. It is a healthy dish that we especially recommend for women. Breakfast: Simple local cuisine that makes use of the bounty of Aso's natural environment. Be sure to try the sakura natto (fine horse sashimi + natto), a dish unique to Kumamoto. We also recommend our handmade yogurt made with Oguni Jersey milk. We are open from 8:00.
