The plum blossoms at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and Umemiya Taisha Shrine bloom in February. Perfect for viewing! At Nijo Castle, about 300 cherry trees of 50 varieties, from early to late blooming. You can enjoy cherry blossoms such as Kanhizakura, Somei Yoshino, Yamazakura, Shidarezakura, and Satozakura. At night, the cherry blossoms are lit up and projection mapping is held, making use of the historical space. Of course, here in the mountains of Takao, azaleas, mountain cherry blossoms, and wisteria bloom against the backdrop of green maples from late March to April. If you are using the bus, we will take you to the JR city bus stop at Takao. (Advance reservation required.
