"When the east wind blows, let the plum blossoms give off their fragrance. Even though they have no master, do not forget spring." There are many rare varieties of plum blossoms. The most beautiful time is usually from late February to mid-March. Perfect for viewing! This is the recommended time to enjoy the tranquil beauty of Kyoto. The plum blossoms at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and Umemiya Taisha Shrine bloom in February. Perfect for viewing! At Nijo Castle, about 300 cherry trees of 50 varieties, from early to late blooming. You can enjoy cherry blossoms such as Kanhizakura, Somei Yoshino, Yamazakura, Shidarezakura, and Satozakura. At night, the cherry blossoms are lit up and projection mapping is held, making use of the historical space. Of course, here in the mountains of Takao, azaleas, mountain cherry blossoms, and wisteria bloom against the backdrop of green maples from late March to April. If you are using the bus, we will take you to the JR city bus stop at Takao. (Advance reservation required. Groups will be taken to Hanazono Station.) <The best viewing time may change depending on natural conditions and the weather on the day. Please be aware of this before applying.> The hawks are starting to sing their hearts out.
