Ōmi beef has an overwhelmingly long history of 400 years as a beef cattle breed in Japan and, along with Kobe beef and Matsusaka beef, is referred to as one of the "three great beefs." Omi beef, raised on the fertile land of Omi, is characterized by its exquisite balance of high-quality fat and flavorful red meat. To let you savor the true taste of Omi beef, we prepared it as a grilled steak on a ceramic plate. Please enjoy it with a small amount of salt or wasabi soy sauce. You can choose from our popular guest rooms with open-air baths. For all types, please enjoy your meals in a semi-private dining area.
