A hidden area nestled in the mountains. Enjoy glamping or stay in the old folk house — each limited to one group a day.
Maximum 6 adults. Children are not included in the maximum occupancy. Kominka Omine is a renovated house built 150 years ago during the Edo period. You can see the colorful forest view beyond the sliding doors, and the real wood gives a sense of wabi-sabi. The renovation was done with the comfort of the guest room facilities, such as the sink and toilet, in mind. Here you can experience the original scenery of good old Japanese life, which is now hard to experience even at "grandma's house". The very popular BBQ can be experienced under the eaves of the veranda if it is light rain, and there is also an indoor BBQ area. [Meals] At the BBQ on the veranda, we offer seasonal vegetables, local black wagyu beef "Akigawa beef", as well as meat seasoned with original rubbed sauce and spices. Depending on the season, you can also enjoy wild vegetables picked on the premises. For breakfast, we will prepare a Japanese meal using local ingredients in your room. In rainy weather and during the cold winter months, you can enjoy BBQ indoors. [Facilities] There is a private bath in the annex. The bath at our facility uses natural spring water from the mountains and is designed with a focus on the view, offering a different kind of luxury from the open-air bath. In the summer, mosquito nets are provided in the rooms so you can experience the countryside together. There are also ping pong tables, darts, and large speakers that can be connected via Bluetooth, so everyone can enjoy it. [Sauna] The high-temperature 100-degree steam will promote metabolism and revitalize the body while listening to the chirping of birds. Please use the cold bath attached to the facility to recover from physical and mental fatigue by bathing in the open air in the great outdoors. This is a hidden sauna that can be used privately. It can be used by couples, families, friends, and individuals. You can use it in shifts with glamping customers. There is no additional charge for using the sauna. Please specify the time of use at check-in. We do not accept reservations for more than 7 adults. Reservations are possible for groups of 6 adults or less and 7 or more people including children.

WOODALND BOTHY's main room is a large cotton tent with two king-size beds. The most distinctive feature of this area is the sense of freedom. The tents, which were fully custom-made for this facility, guarantee a sense of freedom while also providing an elegant comfort that you would never expect in the outdoors. You can spend your time as you like while watching the magnificent scenery, such as dining on the wooden deck or having a bonfire in a private space. [Meals] Our facility offers a grill course where you can enjoy the local black wagyu beef brand "Akigawa beef" and local ingredients that change with the seasons, prepared by an experienced private chef. Breakfast is also available. Leave everything from preparation to cleaning up to us. [Facilities] There is a private bath in the annex. Our bath, which uses natural water that springs from the mountains and is designed with an emphasis on the view, offers a luxury that is different from the open-air bath. There is a bonfire stand at the tent site, so you can enjoy bonfires and hand-held fireworks. The tent is equipped with a projector and large speakers, and you can enjoy your favorite videos and music via Bluetooth. [Sauna] The high-temperature 100-degree steam promotes metabolism and revitalizes the body while listening to the chirps of birds. Couples, families, friends, and individuals can use it separately. *Take turns with glamping customers. There is no additional charge for using the sauna. Please specify the time of use at check-in. The facility is reached from the parking lot by a well-maintained mountain path that takes about 20 minutes to climb the mountain. Along the way, various plants such as hydrangeas, Japanese pepper, and yuzu citrus sprout, and the mountains of Akiruno show a rich expression with each season. There are no lights on the mountain path, so we recommend checking in before sunset.
