The temple was built by Kobo Daishi Kukai when he founded Mount Koya in 816 and is also the family temple of the Tokugawa family.

Japan|Age: 60s|Solo5Posted: 5/5/2022立地は総本山金剛峯寺のすぐ東隣、宿泊者用の駐車場もあり、便利この上なし。 宿坊の建物も築七八年経っているそうですが、新築かと思うほど手入れされています。 お部屋も掃除が行き届いて、最新のウォッシュレットのトイレ完備、私の泊まった六畳にはTVはありませんでしたが、広いお部屋にはTVもあるようです。 冷蔵庫やポット、ドライヤーも備え付けてあり、一般的なホテルと遜色なく、清潔感が数段上なので、不満に思うことは無いでしょう。 お風呂はニ三人で入れるサイズの鍵付きのお風呂が三部屋ほど有るようで、こちらも清潔で気持ち良く入浴出来ます。 食事は勿論精進料理、美しく盛り付けられ量も十分、美味です。 徳川家の菩提寺なので、朝の勤行に参加させて頂くと、内陣の徳川家関連の位牌や貴重な仏像を拝見出来ました。 満足満足の一泊となりました。 せっかく高野山を訪れるのでしたら、是非こちらへ宿泊されることをお薦めします。

お部屋はこじんまりとでも綺麗でした。ちょっとしたホテルのような感じでした。それとお部屋にトルコキキョウが生けられていて、大雨に降られて疲れてお部屋に入った時に癒されました。 精進料理はとっても美味しく、豆乳鍋は絶品でした！ そして初めて勤行に参加しとても貴重な経験が出来ました。徳川家の位牌や縁のものを見せていただき、また御住職がわかりやすくご本尊や高野山の歴史をお話されて、とてもよかったです。

どこに出かけるにしても、アクセス手段が良好。 5連泊しましたが、あっという間の充実した時間を送ることができました。 以下二点の本物に出会うことができました。 徳川家の歴代将軍の位牌やいろは大師座像等重要文化財・国宝級のものそして、 精進料理のすばらしさ・・・。目で楽しみ、舌で喜び、心で満足しました。 最後に、院の皆さまの丁寧なご対応が嬉しかったです。ありがとうございました。

Please be sure to contact us if you will be checking in after the scheduled time.
Cleaning for consecutive nights: We do not clean your room during your stay. Garbage collection and pot water exchange will be performed.
Dinner will be ready at 18:00, so please be sure to let us know if you will be arriving after 18:00.
The curfew is 21:00. (However, except for Yamauchi event days)
There is no TV in the 6 tatami room and 7 tatami room.
Do not place suitcases with casters on the tatami mats.
Please note that the bathing time varies depending on the number of guests.
Please refrain from staying overnight if you are participating in the Okunoin Night Tour.
