You can enjoy the changing seasons and time of the Azuma Mountains to the fullest. ■Takayu Onsen■ Takayu Onsen, one of the three hidden hot springs in Oshu, is located in the historic Bandai Asahi National Garden, midway up Mt. Azuma. This is a hot spring resort. The spring quality is milky white, natural sulfur spring, one of the few in Japan where the water is drawn down by a natural drop, and it is said to have high medicinal properties. In June 2010, the hotel made a declaration that it would use only natural spring water. Of course, the hot springs at Kagetsu Highland Hotel are 100% natural! The springs are free-flowing, natural sulfur springs that are not heated or diluted at all. [Baths] Available 24 hours a day ・Barrier-free large bath (Yama-no-yu) ・Open-air bath (Mori-no-yu) with a beautiful harmony of cypress and stone ・Private open-air bath (Himesa-yuri) Ichi-no-yu, Ni-no-yu *Private baths require a reservation [50 minutes/1,650 yen]. *Private baths may not be available on some days due to weather conditions. Located at the top of Takayu Onsen, our hotel offers a view of the powerful morning sun and on some days you can see a sea of clouds. At night, you can enjoy the sparkling night view. ■Hot Springs■ The open-air bath in the sky, Mori no Yu, feels like you're walking in the sky The large bath, Yama no Yu, offers a spacious bathtub and a panoramic window that overlooks the Azuma mountain range The private open-air bath, Himesayuri, is perfect for families and couples, and is filled with a sense of openness *The private open-air bath requires a reservation, 1,650 yen for 50 minutes (showers and faucets cannot be used during the winter) All hot springs are natural sulfur springs with antioxidant power (ph2.7) and are directly drawn from the source.
