Takehara, located on the coast of the Seto Inland Sea, has prospered as one of Japan's leading salt-making areas since the Edo period, and with the benefit of salt, there were 26 breweries in the Taisho period. People at that time competed to build many wonderful buildings, forming a beautiful cityscape. It still retains the remnants of those days, and is also known as Little Kyoto in Aki, and has been selected as a national traditional buildings preservation district. NIPPONIA HOTEL Takehara Shiomachi stands in the middle of the town. As a decentralized hotel scattered throughout the city, we have 10 renovated rooms with the same architectural design and comfort. While thinking about the history and culture that lives in this place, please fully enjoy the salt, sake, and the fruits of Setouchi that are still carefully spun.

とてもリラックスした滞在ができました。 今回は子供2人を含めた4人での旅行でした。宿泊した部屋は、充分に広く、また写真通りのとても雰囲気のよい部屋でした。 部屋でこんなに「和」を体験できることはなかなかないので、本当に素敵な体験ができました。 個人的には久しぶりに”こたつ”に入れて楽しかったです。 檜風呂も気持ちが良かったです。 食事は、値段で考えると少し割高な感じがします。 しかし、とても手間がかかっているのがわかる内容ですし、また地元の食材を使っているのがとても好感が持てます。 食事空間はとても上品なので、落ち着いて気分で食事をしたい方にはとても良いと思います。 スタッフの対応はチェックインからチェックアウトまで、大変丁寧かつ品のある対応でした。 とても心地よかったです。 また泊まりたいと思います。

街並み保存地区内に宿泊できるので、とても風情があっていいです！ レストランも、綺麗な小皿や雛人形等、可愛らしい飾りがある和室で、美味しい料理を頂けました。

前もって確認しなかった私達が悪いのですが、高齢者や脚が悪い人にはおすすめできません。フロントから宿棟まで離れているので、食事の度に往復しなければいけません。宿棟もベッドが2階、風呂とトイレは1階なので、何度も往復しなくてはいけません。 車椅子の貸出は無いとのこと、もっと下調べをして予約したら良かったと思いました。 外の車の音、エアコンの音がかなり気になりました。 お掃除もちょっと雑なような気がしました。 お料理は美味しかったです。
