Benesse House is a facility that integrates a museum and a hotel under the concept of "coexistence of nature, architecture, and art."
Benesse House was opened in 1992 as a facility that integrates a museum and a hotel with the concept of "coexistence of nature, architecture, and art." A total of 4 different accommodations, including a "museum" where you can stay inside the museum, an "oval" where you can enjoy the spectacular view of Setouchi, a "park" surrounded by the sea, greenery and art, and a "beach" surrounded by the sound of ripples. In addition to the building, there is a restaurant, cafe, and spa shop. All the architecture was designed by Tadao Ando and is structured to be in harmony with the environment of Setonaikai National Park over time. The long slopes, stairs, passageways, and outside light shining through the cut-out openings invite contemporary art inside and outside the facility to an appreciation experience that can be felt throughout the body. Rakuten Travel offers rooms for "Park" and "Beach", which were newly established in 2006. Please come to the "Park" front desk for check-in in either accommodation building.

Japan|Age: 30s|Family with kid(s)5Posted: 8/30/2023一番近い宮浦港から離れた場所にあるため、レンタカーや公共のバスを使う必要があります。ベネッセハウス宿泊客向けに無料バスが出るので、そのバスに乗れば島に点在するアート作品や美術館を巡ることができます。ただし、13時台はバスがないので、バスを利用してベネッセハウスに行く際は、フェリーの時間わ確認していく必要があります。 ベネッセハウス自体は非常に清潔で、スタッフの方も素晴らしい対応をしてくださいます。部屋にテレビがないのも、非日常感があって素晴らしいと思います。ベネッセハウス内や庭に設置されている作品や、近くの美術館の作品をゆっくりみていたら、テレビを見てる時間なんてないですし^ ^ ディナーも朝食もとってもおいしかったです。 素晴らしい時間でした。

大好きなアート作品に囲まれて滞在し、至高の時を過ごすことができました。 スタッフの方々どなたも丁寧に対応していただき、ありがとうございました。 夕食付ではなかったのでテラスレストランを予約しましたが、地中美術館のナイトプログラム後の時間に利用でき便利でした。そしてとても美味しかったです。

下船直後からスタッフが声をかけてくれました。トランクをホテルに届けてくれたり、旅行プランなども教えてもらえ、至れり尽くせりのサービスに感動しました。

10日前をきっての予約でしたがとってもいいお部屋でした。エレベーター降りてあまり歩かないど真ん中に近いお部屋でした♪ 朝食も卵料理は注文してから作って持って来てくださり、それ以外もとても美味しかっです。コメントでは無くなっても出てこないとの意見を見かけましたが、無くなる前に足して下さる感じで、次々出て来ていましたよ。 スープがあれば完璧だったかな、、、。 景色と雰囲気もお値段の内と考えれば、高いとは思いませんでした。 バスのサービスがとってもありがたかったです。 お陰で身軽で美術館を堪能出来ました。 宿泊することで色んな時間に作品を鑑賞でき、同じ作品がこんなに違って見えるのかと驚きました スタッフさんも皆さん感じが良く、気持ちよかったです また行きたいです

* Please check the opening status of museum facilities on Naoshima Island and surrounding islands from the Benesse Art Site Naoshima official website. We cannot refund the accommodation fee due to the closure of the museum facilities.
* Benesse House is entirely non-smoking. There are several smoking areas outside the building.
* At Benesse House Park and Beach, up to 1 child under the age of 5 can share a bed free of charge with each bed in the guest room. (No meals or bedding)
* At Benesse House Museum Restaurant Japanese Cuisine Issen, children under the age of 5 are not allowed at dinner.
