The rooms, designed by first-class architect Saimon Toshifumi, who also participated in the design of the Kyoto State Guest House, retain a Japanese atmosphere and have been praised by guests for their relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Dinner is served in the restaurant or in your room. You can also have dinner in your room. Enjoy kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal ingredients and Kyoto vegetables. One of the few inns in the city that is certified as serving seasonal Kyoto vegetables. Hiei boast one of the highest radon contents in Japan, and the radon in the steam and the minerals in the water warm the body from the inside and out, activating the immune system. Both the open-air baths in the guest rooms and the large public baths are natural hot springs. The large public baths are open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. ■Notes■ *Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel.
