It is said to have been discovered about 1,200 years ago, and it has flourished as a hot spring resort since ancient times. Located in Ueda City, there are many historical tourist spots nearby, such as Ueda Castle and Sanada Shrine, which are associated with the Sanada family, and Matsumoto Castle, a national treasure, and it is also known as a famous cherry blossom spot in the spring. ■About the hotel There are two Oedo Onsen Monogatari inns, Fujikan and Sakurakan, in Kakeyu Onsen, with a total of 11 types of baths, including private baths (charged). Guests staying at the inn can use the baths in both buildings, which have different themes. We offer an open-air bath rich in nature and an authentic medicinal bath made by kneading 100% natural herbal medicines into the hot spring.
