The Chichibu Pilgrimage Sites Year of the Horse Opening, once every 12 years The 34 Chichibu pilgrimage sites in the Chichibu region are celebrating the Year of the Horse Grand Opening, which occurs once every 12 years. As a commemorative project, the Chichibu Ryokan Association has created a limited number of pilgrimage site cards modeled after ukiyo-e, depicting stories based on the votive paintings displayed on the exteriors of the 34 pilgrimage sites. These cards are exclusively sold at the association's lodging facilities. At Seseragiso, guests who sign up for this plan will receive them free of charge.
