A journey through history with my dog and oranges [Breakfast] [Dinner]

On this page, we introduce Abutsu-ni's poem and the Tale of Genji, Azuma Kagami and the Tale of Genji. In the Tale of Genji, there is a poem that says, "The dew on my sleeves is a connection, and I cannot imagine that I will become a Yamato Nadeshiko." It is said that the baby Fujitsubo gave birth to was a tearful child, and that the baby's real father was Hikaru Genji. This child would later become Emperor Reizei and help Hikaru Genji. Also, in Abutsu's Sixteenth Night Diary, there is a poem in which, on the night before she leaves, she entrusts Tamesuke and Tamemori, who are to be left behind in their hometown, to their older sister, the lady-in-waiting of Ki. "I will rely on the morning sun only for you, the dianthus that remains in my hometown, and do not let the frost crow," the lady-in-waiting replied, "If you keep your heart in love, the Yamato Nadeshiko will not wither even in the frost of her hometown." The Yamato Nadeshiko of the Tale of Genji has the same meaning as the Yamato Nadeshiko that Abutsu's family associates with, and is used like a password. Four years later, Abutsu died in Kamakura. Tameso, who inherited the lawsuit, took the name Reizei and founded the waka house Reizei. Another poem is from the 29th, when Abutsu entered Kamakura: "Let go, no more waves will cross you, if it's the same world as the people of the past." This "the same world as the people of the past" refers to the time of Hojo Yasutoki. There is no trace of hemp in the world, only mugwort as you please, and as the mugwort multiplies, wise men no longer grow. Yasutoki, who wrote this poem, established the Wakadokoro and the Academic Institute in the shogunate. Fujihime-ko, later Abutsu-ni, began her career as a waka poet there. The Azuma Kagami has 52 volumes. The Tale of Genji has 54 chapters, of which 53 chapters if you exclude the chapters on the death of Hikaru Genji and the eight years of Kumogakure (History of Hiding in the Clouds). Both are long works. The Azum
