The temple was built by Kobo Daishi Kukai when he founded Mount Koya in 816 and is also the family temple of the Tokugawa family.
You will stay at the temple and make an offering (for a fee). This is a standard plan with two meals (vegetarian cuisine) including dinner and breakfast. You can participate in early morning religious services. *Please make an offering to your ancestors (from 5,000 yen per person, paid in cash) at the front desk when you check in. *Please note that there are no TVs in the rooms. *There are no amenities in the rooms as this is a sustainable plan.
