Dinner is served in two courses. Both dinner and breakfast are delicious vegetarian cuisine. Meals are generally prepared in the dining area (dining room) for both morning and evening. [Origin of the Temple] Dainen-in is a distinguished temple on Mount Koya, founded in the 9th century with a rich history. It is also known as the temple associated with the love story of 'Takiguchi Nyudo and Yokobue' described in the Heike Monogatari, and has a historical site dedicated to Yokobue within its grounds. You can enjoy Mount Koya's beautiful seasonal gardens, participate in early morning prayers (starting at 6:00, 6:30 during winter), or experience sutra copying, which will evoke the solemn atmosphere unique to temple lodgings. [Meal] Dinner is served in two courses. The cuisine is a gentle and nourishing vegetarian meal. Meals for multi-night stays will be the same each day. Thank you for your understanding.
