Japan|Age: 50s|Family with kid(s)4Posted: 3/19/2023出迎えからお見送りまでとても丁寧な対応でした。部屋も広くて羨望も良く、気持ちよく過ごせました。何よりもお食事が豪華！ふぐのコース料理のほか、刺身や釜飯、大和蒸しなど手の込んだ料理で普段は食の細い両親も沢山いただいていました。 仲居さんのサービスや対応も良くて、食べきれなかった釜飯をおにぎりにしてお部屋まで持ってきてくださるなどの心遣いをいただきました。お風呂の露天風呂からは内海が見えて美しく、湯加減も熱すぎないので長く浸かっていられました。 父の喜寿のお祝い旅行だったのですが予約時にその旨お伝えしてたところ、萩焼のぐい呑みをプレゼントしていただき、とても良い旅となりました。ありがとうございました。

素泊まりで利用させていただきました。露天風呂からの景色が綺麗で、館内も清潔感があり、大満足でした。また利用したいです。

ホテルに到着した時は激しい風雨に晒される生憎の悪天候でしたが、出迎えて頂いたスタッフの方々が、自分が濡れるのも厭わずに強い風にあおられながらも、私が濡れないように大きな傘をかざして下さいました、お陰で殆ど濡れずに済んで本当に感謝です。 駐車スペースへの案内も先回りするために走って行って、私が迷わないよう誘導して頂きました。出迎えのスタッフの方々の「おもてなしの精神」に、以前お会いした社長が体現された「おもてなし」の姿勢が透けて見えるようで感激しました。 部屋は海と日本庭園が見渡せる眺望の良い海側で、窓際の椅子に座り海と日本庭園を眺めてゆっくりと寛げました。 夕食は「◆華やぎの贅沢会席◆あわび・お造り・長萩和牛＊山海の幸満載」、炉物と温物と釜めしが固形燃料を使うため、テーブル上が煩雑で美しくない、そして自分で蒸したり温めたりする物が多すぎて食べることに集中できず楽しめなかった。料理の内容を尋ねても、よく分からない説明で余り親切な印象ではなかった。人員的なこともあるかもしれないが、それを客に気を遣わせる言い訳にはならないと思う。朝食は特筆すべき点はなかったが美味しかった、食後のアフターコーヒーは器が気に入ったし気が利いていると感心した。 風呂について、室内大浴場は雑然とした印象で湯船に浸かっても何だか落ち着かずゆったりと疲れをとる雰囲気ではなかった、露天風呂は後付けの造作感があるが開放的で気持ちよかった、しかし時折鼻につく強い硫黄臭？メタンガス臭？いやドブの臭い！が気になった。他の客の言では排水溝の流れが滞ってドブ臭くなっているとのこと。ホテルの清掃スタッフは気付かないのだろうか。 売店のアイスは高いGODIVAより聞いたことがない無名の安いアイスが美味しかった、もうGODIVAは置かない方がいいのでは？と思いました。 入口で出迎えてくれたスタッフは最高に素晴らしかったが、食事会場や客室係のスタッフについては残念な印象。しかし最も残念に思ったのは、日本庭園目当てに来た私にとって、すぐ目の前にある折角の日本庭園に入ることはもちろん近づくことすら叶わなかったことだった。露天風呂を増設した折から見学ができなくなったという話を聞いたが、そこは何とか見学できるように努力して欲しい。

２０２２年１２月３０日に家族とともに一泊した。東萩の駅からはかなり距離があり、反射炉に近い位置にあるが、夕方に着く様に送迎バスが出ている。送迎バスのドライバーはホスピタリティも抜群で、かなり助けられた。とにかく眺望がすばらしく、部屋も二人にはもったいないほど広かった。海が一望できる露天風呂も見事。夕食は地元・萩の食材をふんだんに使った懐石で、家族も大満足の一泊だった。これまでに泊まったホテル・旅館の中でも確実に最上位に来る宿で、できれ２泊したいほど。萩を再訪時にはぜひまた利用したい。
