Japan|Age: 60s|Solo3Posted: 5/18/2023食事は美味しかったが、提供されたタオルは雑巾のようだった 2泊した。薄汚い、雑巾のようなタオルについてと、非常に美味しかった食事について詳述しておく。 鉄道駅から４時間バスに揺られて到着する山奥の宿だが、食事は多彩で、選び抜かれた上品な食器で提供され、料理長は都会の和食店でしっかり修業された方なのだろうと想像した。朝食のコーヒーもデロンギの豆から挽くタイプのコーヒーメーカーで淹れるので、ヨーロッパの香り高く洗練されていた（客層は必ずしもそうでもなかった）。食事の内容も1日目と2日目で変えて下さった。朝食も2日目はパン食にして下さったが、正直、朝食は2日とも茶粥の和食でも良かった。 給仕のフィリッピン女性に、初日は鍋の詳細（アナゴの卵とじ）や二日目はしゃぶしゃぶ用のゴマダレについて聞いたが、理解してもらえず、また理解して日本食を学ぼうという気もなさそうだったのは残念。日本食が好きではないのだろう。 しゃぶしゃぶの肉は「大和肉」とのことだったが、非常に美味しかった。とろけるように柔らかく、サシがまんべんなく入り、アクもあまり出なかった。初めて食した肉だが、関西で有名な神戸牛や松坂牛よりはるかに美味しいと思った。 料理長さんありがとう！

食事は美味しかったが、提供されたタオルは雑巾のようだった 2泊した。薄汚い、雑巾のようなタオルについてと、非常に美味しかった食事について詳述しておく。 大阪に住んでいた幼い頃、母の実家のある吉野町から更に奥深いところに十津川という村があることを耳にしており、一度訪ねてみたいと思っていた。長時間のバス旅だが道路も舗装され、蛇行する十津川の護岸やダムはさながら日本の高い土木技術のお手本のようであり、ホテルのトイレも水洗で、ウオッシュレット付きになっていた。昭和、平成の日本の発展がこんな山奥にも届いているのかと感慨深かった。が、「源泉かけ流し」と謳う温泉宿のタオルは、チープなビジネスホテルよりもひどいものだった。バスタオルは元の水色からねずみ色に変色し、洗面所のオレンジ色のタオルも糸がほつれている。柔軟剤の使い過ぎで吸水力は全くなく、普通の体格の女性の身体に巻き付けるには縮んで小さすぎ、無駄な柔軟剤で滑ってしまう。脱衣場の別の客のかごにもう少しまともな白いタオルが置いてあったので、入浴後フロント係に聞くと、「リネン会社から提供されたものをそのまま使っている」とのことであった。翌日交換されたものは、色こそ白に代わっていたが、やはり縮んで小さく、おまけに客室係は部屋の畳の上にタオルを直に置いており、衛生感覚の低さに驚いた。十津川温泉にはタオル会社はひとつしかないとしても、少なくとも支配人や客室係は客に提供できるレベルのタオルかどうか、チェックすべきで、雑巾のようなものを何の疑問も抱かず平気で客に提供するとは。。。私は1泊2食で27500円払っているのである。

外観を見て「えっ？」てなりましたがお風呂は非常に良かったです。食事も良かったです。 全体的に満足しました。

GWの2週間前にたまたま空いていた（キャンセル空か？）1室を予約。選択肢もなかったので、あまり調べてもなく期待していなかったのですが、それが大きく期待を超えて、大満足の宿泊となりました。 まず、ペット小屋があり、車で寝かせようと思っていた小型犬をペット小屋で過ごさせることができました（有料）。料理は夕食、朝食ともに大変凝った懐石でこれが家族も大満足でした。ホテル施設の野猿を体験することができ、ロープを引くときように軍手も貸していただけました。広場前にステージがあり、ミュージカル俳優志望の娘が歌を歌いました。施設の作りですごく良い音の響きがあり、また周囲の山々のこだまですごく音が響いて聞こえるので、チェックイン到着した人たちにもよく聞こえたようで、拍手をしてもらいました。芝生広場では犬が楽しそうに走り回ることができました（リード付で）。お風呂も広くて露天風呂や風呂の温度も熱めで大変気持ちよかったです。フロントの皆さん、レストランの皆さんも大変親切に接していただけ、また本当に来たいホテルになりました。

２泊３日の家族旅行で２泊目に利用しました。１泊目の１/３ぐらいの料金だったため内容的にさほど期待していなかったのですが食事については想定以上の内容で嬉しい誤算となり、家族も評価してくれたこともあり有意義な家族旅行になりました。
