Japanese-style room 6 tatami mats or more [Japanese room] [Smoking] [Mountain view]
A guest room for railway enthusiasts, "Moonlight Oboke," with a view of the Yoshinogawa Second Bridge, has opened! Produced by railway photographer Tsubouchi Masami, he and about 20 of his friends renovated a Japanese-style room on the 4th floor overlooking the railway bridge into a room for railway enthusiasts! A two-seater seat from a former JNR 14-series passenger car has been installed by the window overlooking the railway bridge (Yoshinogawa Second Bridge). The seats were donated by Wakasa Railway in Tottori Prefecture. The interior is decorated with the headmark of the "Taraboke" special train operated by JR Shikoku, and destination signs (sabo) from trains in Shikoku that were once used. Photos of Shikoku's railways taken by Tsubouchi are on the walls, and timetables and railway magazines are lined up on the bookshelves. A DVD player is also available for watching railway-related DVDs. Bonus: Moonlight Oboke original towel The room name comes from the night train "Moonlight Kochi" that used to run on the Dosan Line. There is a Dosan Line timetable on the desk, so why not sit here and plan a photo shoot of the various trains passing through the iron bridge that you can see from the room window?
