Transit and transportation
Aomori Prefecture is a vehicle-oriented society, as public transportation infrastructure is not yet well developed. As for railway, Aomori Station has just three train lines. Concurrently, the Hachinohe Sansha Taisai Festival, steeped in a history of more than 300 years, takes place in the months of July and August.
